It’s a shame that such a beautiful area has been defiled by a rubbish dump.

 

3.      harp (v) 彈奏豎琴,不停的說 (n) 豎琴

He can play the harp and violin.

He is always har ping on about lack of discipline.

 

4.      mirth (n) 歡笑,歡樂,愉快

The performance produced much mirth among the audience.

He wants to redeem his reputation.

 

6.      off key  走音的(不合適的不正常的)

Some of his remarks were very off-key.

8.      take breath 歇口氣  (take a breath 深深的吸一口氣)

The foreman told everyone to take breath.

The breathtaking green valley below was aptly named Beautiful Valley .
